BMC Air Filters for New Porsche 911 (991) GT3 RS
The new 911 GT3 RS breaks boundaries with eye-popping peak figures for a normally aspirated 911.
- 493 hp at 8250 rpm and 388 lb/ft at 6250 rpm.
- Acceleration from 0 – 100 km/h 3 secs with a top speed 310 km.
The RS 3.8 litre water-cooled flat six-cylinder unit with four valves per cylinder, VarioCam and dry-sump lubrication has been stroked to 4.0 litres and has a new intake system. Its crank is cast using metallurgy techniques honed with the 919 Le Mans race car.
Direct fuel injection (DFI) makes a decisive contribution to the efficiency of the engine, and its power output. It does so with millisecond precision and a pressure of up to 200 bar.
The new 911 GT3 RS has two air intake openings for the engine, on the left and right in the rear side guard sections. These allow a much more accurate and concentrated airflow for the revised intake system.
BMC Air Filters are fitted as standard OE equipment.
